How articles get made
Our editorial process is deliberately simple and honest:
- Discovery. We monitor open-access sources around the clock and rank each day's new papers for novelty, venue quality, and public interest.
- Writing. An AI writing system drafts each article, headline, summary, and a short "Why it matters" section, directly from the paper itself, not from press releases.
- Fact-checking. A separate verification pass checks every factual claim in the draft against the source paper and flags anything it cannot verify.
- Automatic publication. Articles publish as soon as they clear the fact-check pass. No human editor reads them first, so treat every story as a pointer to the paper rather than the last word on it, and follow the citation to the source.

Written by AI from open-access research and published automatically. Always consult the original paper. We link the original paper, authors, venue, DOI, and license, at the bottom of every article, and we only cover papers whose licenses allow us to. We do not cover paywalled work we cannot read.
PaperShort has no ads and no user accounts. Our analytics are fully anonymous, we count views, likes, and shares per article, and nothing about you.
